Our rums

The Lobo Plantation has a handpicked collection of over 250 rums. Sourced both locally and internationally, we believe our collection to be one of the most diverse and interesting in Australia.

We feature rums from all over the world but the largest portion come from the following regions:
* the Caribbean including but not limited to Antigua, Bermuda, Cuba, Jamaica, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Grenada, St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago
 * Central America including Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama
* South America including Colombia, Venezuela and Guyana.

Our collection also includes some of the rarest and oldest variations of the world's most beloved rum brands. By including rums dating back as far as 1930, we are able to show the evolution of rum over the past 80-90 years.

Lobo's Rum Journal

Our range of rums has taken us two years to accumulate and is now accompanied by our own in house rum journal. This journal lists all of our rums by region along with personal tasting notes, historical facts, ABV and also Lobo's twist on 40 classic rum cocktails to help you enjoy the diversity of our collection. The journal can be viewed in venue and is also available for purchase.

The Lobo Plantation food menu in collaboration with The Urban Cooking Collective (UCC)

The UCC are passionate about the flavours of their Latin food heritage and have partnered with The Lobo to showcase it in this boutique share menu. From a very young age, UCC’s head chef Vicki learnt to make empanadas at her grandmother’s house, where her family would cook up large batches for family gatherings and celebrations. This menu aims to showcase these delicious family recipes from South America and the Caribbean alongside our award winning cocktail list. All dishes are handmade in small batches with a big pinch of love.

12 hour slow cooked pulled pork and mushroom. Pure, gooey deliciousness perfect for soaking up your favourite cocktail

A healthy serving of slow cooked pulled pork, triple smoked ham, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, pickles, mayo and Dijon mustard. All stuffed in between fluffy Schiacciata bread. Delish!

Bookings

Lobo is now accepting bookings in our lounge area for groups of up to 20 people.

Monday - walk-ins only
Tuesday and Wednesday - any time
Thursday - latest booking 6pm
Friday - latest 5.30pm
Saturday - carries a min spend of $50pp - latest booking 9pm 
(7.45pm if between 16 and 20 people)

Groups of 10 and over will incur a 5% service charge.

For groups of 7 and over, we will take your credit card details as security against no shows and cancellations within 24hrs of the booking ($20pp fee). Nothing will be charged so long as your group arrives on the day.

We are also available for exclusive hire outside our normal trading hours (listed below).
